Thanks. I hadn't watched him in a long while. I'm not with him in sex being sacred. My struggle with Brand, Peterson etc. is their conversion to religion, and how they've entrenched themselves in a seemingly conservative, right wing alt net.

For sure and just like you have the problems of corporate / advertising capture in legacy media, you have the issue of audience capture when all of the subscribers are demanding ideological loyalty. When the Gaza war first broke out, I felt like Brand was hesitant to make any pointed critique of Israel (unlike someone like Greenwald, who initially lost a third of his subscribers because of his coverage)

Several months ago, he pissed me off with his "magical amulet" advertising. I'm assuming he was paid a lot of bucks to promote an unproven scientific device, and he took the cash because Youtube had banned him advertising. It's a pity, because he's a super smart dude and a charismatic voice.

Absolutely soul-crushing. This young woman is traumatized and needs help, rather than the vampires profiting off of her. The director seemed to be the only person who cared about her well-being.

I found it more nuanced and two-sided. According to her, she's worth £2million. She could retire in South Africa and live as a queen and a charity worker for the rest of her life.
