I was inspired by your 'divorce' before I met your substack page - ha ha.

On the serious note of that post, we're a fickle species, and we're tested when the sexy, amazing, clever, funny person we love becomes a major burn survivor.

Yes, I wondered as much when I started reading about the wife and excited kids!

For sure--him trying to conceal his "shock and distaste" and his feeling of "horror" were what made it so brutal and uncomfortable

....if she doesn't maybe you need to educate yourself on what women really want and need, you might end up finding more joy for both of you. It's nor easy but it's worth a try :)

Thanks Sue, I have pretty good luck with women,mostly because the folks I hang out with are all desert folks. 🏜

Before the glory days of Rome,men and women were making jokes about relationships, it seems our nature to misundersand each other.

That being said,I enjoyed hearing your opinion. 👍
